At Ethical Tee Company we only supply apparel that has been audited by www.fairwear.org

All our apparel is 100% GOTS Certified Organic Cotton or made from sustainable materials like EcoVero or Tencel

All our inks are 100% phthalate free or water based.

A single Earth Positive tee shirt produces 90% less CO2 than a standard tee-shirt, that is a massive 6 kilo’s or 12lb saving per tee.

Non-organic cotton is one of the most destructive crops on the planet, accounting for 3% of the worlds crop but a massive 25% of the worlds insecticide. It has a massive impact on pollution levels, & water usage. The garment industry itself is one of the worst abusers of workers rights, and why it is so important to research where the clothes you buy and sell come from.

We do not supply brands that use WRAP as there audit company. The report goes some way as to explain why.

NO TO WRAP

Made in a factory powered by wind and solar.

Our Earth Positive and Fair Share range are made in a factory powered by renewable energy as well as being made from 100% GOTS certified organic cotton, they are Climate Neutral and have a 'leader' rating for ethical production at www.fairwear.org.

Products showing the Fair Share label carry a small price premium that is passed directly on to the garment workers in India towards their Living Wage.

Salvaged

Our Salvage range is made from 60% recycled GOTS certified organic cotton and 40% recycled polyester. They also climate neutral and have a 'leader' rating for ethical production at www.fairwear.org.

Sustainable materials

We also carry apparel made from sustainable materials like EcoVero and Tencel. Our EcoVero tees are made from 70% EcoVero & 30% GOTS certified organic cotton, our Tencel products are made from 50% Tencel and 50% GOTS certified organic cotton. They also have ‘leader’ status at www.fairwear.org

No Sweat

No Sweat T-shirts, hoodies and tote bags are made from 100% organic cotton, certified by GOTS. In a worker-owned factory in Bangladesh called Oporajeo, set up by the survivors of Rana Plaza. The conditions they have established provides an example of how the garment industry should be run.

The workers at Oporajeo earn wages high above the minimum, plus a benefits package that provides them with a higher standard of living, but most importantly of all, the workers have democratic control over their workplace.

Stanley Stella

We also carry the Stanley Stella range, they are made from 100% GOTS certified organic cotton and have and also have a ‘LEADER’ status at www.fairwear.org for ethical production.
